January 6, 2018: Hosted the first post-holiday pot luck for both of my sons' class parents. It is such a great way to gather together without putting the stress on one family. Check out how I can help you with your party planning by clicking here.
2017
December 7, 2017: Compiled the images I took at a friend's wedding and turned them into a special keepsake photo book that I sent as a surprise after the wedding. You can work with me to create your own custom book to keep or gift by clicking here.
November 16, 2017: Participated in the Bronxville Field Club's Friendsgiving event, as well as the St. Joseph Mother's Club Boutique & Bake Sale in November. It was such a great opportunity to meet with people and share what I do. Click here to see my menu.
October 14, 2017: Kicked off our 2017 Holiday Photo Packages, a joint venture with K. Salkey Photography. We were lucky to have such a great group of families this year! Learn more about what it includes by clicking here.
September 30, 2017: Honored to be able to help plan a Haute Hawaiian themed 40th birthday for a friend and now client. The highlight for me was spraying pineapples golden! Take a look at my services by clicking here.
August 4, 2017: Thrilled while visiting our family in Scotland that I was able to present them with personalized photo books that capture our many years of encounters and wonderful memories. Check out my other photo book examples by clicking here.
July 5, 2017: Excited to be working with another party-planning client. My services can be a la carte, or I can be by your side start-to-finish. Either way, each event is custom to your needs and your budget. Take a look at my services by clicking here.
June 21, 2017: Proud, like so many other parents, to see my children complete another year of school. Also thankful for the amazing teachers they have had in their life. Ready to make a custom yearbook for your child? Check out my photo book page.
May 23, 2017: Welcomed my latest milestone of turning 40 the only way I know how, with a themed party! I celebrated my 40s in 1950s style...because why not? It was great to celebrate with my family and friends, a few that I am honored to call my clients too.
April 28, 2017: Ended the month being able to show my support as a Sponsor of the Junior League of Bronxville's annual fundraiser, Trends & Treasures. This was on top of donating packages to both of my sons' schools' silent auctions. #veryblessed
March 14, 2017: Penned my Picture Perfect Pointer for March. While I am by no means a professional photographer, I am an avid photographer and Mom of two that has learned some lessons I like to share along the way. Click here for past posts.
February 23, 2017: Glad to see that all the beautiful princesses in town are following me on Facebook & Instagram. Are you???
January 9, 2017: New year meant lots of people looking to follow-through on their resolution to preserve and organize their photos. Are you ready to gain control over your chaos and start enjoying your memories? Take a look at my newest plan options here.
2016
December 26, 2016: Ended a busy month of creating photo books for my clients to give as holiday gifts and meeting with my first Photo Preservation & Organization client, by having my family take part in our annual Holiday Photo Package shoot with my joint venture friend Kalil Salkey of K. Salkey Photography. It was a great year and I look forward to all that 2017 has in store.
November 17, 2016: Proud to have been a marquis Sponsor that provided the welcome glass of wine for the Junior League of Bronxville's Friendraiser event. It is a great moment when you love of parties and love of community can collide. Plus the best part of all was having my mother, Eileen Iulo, attend. She has been there supporting my dreams throughout my entire life.
October 28, 2016: Oversaw a Halloween Spooktacular that was tons of fun for the kids and adult guests involved. The best part was working with Cooking By Jessica on the themed menu and having K. Salkey Photography there to capture the event.
September 17, 2016: Expanded the options for my 2016 Holiday Photo Packages this year. Not only will I be working with K. Salkey Photography again, but also I now have a new joint venture with Moda Makeover. Check out how owner Maria Matera can help you look picture perfect in time for the holidays (click here). The best part is she helps eliminate another stress...outfit coorination!
August 19, 2016: Celebrated World Photo Day by penning my Picture Perfect Pointer for August. Click here for past posts.
July 27, 2016: Helped a client with a custom job, in true concierge form, by designing, creating content and photographing images for her husband's first-ever business website. Check out his site here and always know I can help you with custom jobs too!
June 5, 2016: Started using my Instagram account for the business. Follow me today @michellemakesmemories or click here.
May 16, 2016: Completed my first "design a class yearbook" request. The client had won a free photo book design service that was raffled off at the Junior League of Bronxville's Trails To Treasures event. It went over so well all the class parents ordered a copy!
April 16, 2016: Worked with an amazing and talented client to assist her in planning a housewarming party. I was lucky to have a great team with me at the event to make sure the evening went smoothly. Check out my full menu of options here.
March 5, 2016: Attended the St. Joseph's School Barn Dance fundraiser, where it was fun to see my 2016 Holiday Photo Package in the silent auction. There is nothing greater than being able to support your community doing something that you love.
February 7, 2016: Captured a ton of fun memories, including this one that was also used as my February Create-A-Caption Challenge, at the sweet Spencer's 3rd Birthday Party. Check out examples and all of the package options here!
January 11, 2016: Launched my latest service working with with my joint venture partner Kalil Salkey of K. Salkey Photography...our Party Photo Packages. After putting all the effort into planning a big soiree you should at least have some memories you can look back on when it is all done. My family has certainly taken advantage of that over the years.
2015
December 21, 2015: Proud to officially have launched my new logo. Special thanks to my talented sister, Mehgan Iulo, for designing it for me! Check out her website (click here) to see more of her work product. In the meantime I was busy in December creating work products of my own, including being employed for my photo editing services and designing my first photo book for a client.
November 21, 2015: Completed the first, of many scheduled, 2015 Holiday Card Packages. I was proud to have been able to also donate one to the Junior League of Bronxville's Friendraiser event earlier this month. By working with my joint venture partner Kalil Salkey of K. Salkey Photography we capture those picture-perfect shots at the location of our client's choice and then I mock up several card options so all the client has to do is select the family favorite and order away! Check out the one of my family.
October 27, 2015: Hosted a successful launch party with a Halloween theme...because that is what I do! I was fortunate to have so many friends attend and have my joint venture partner Kalil Salkey of K. Salkey Photography there to capture the memories. Of course my husband, Andrew Schoulder, was willing to step in as bartender. It was the perfect way to introduce my business concepts, my website and my Facebook page (click here). Hope visitors enjoy what they see!
October 1, 2015: When it all began. Michelle Makes Memories was officially incorporated. A special thanks to my husband, Andrew Schoulder, for encouraging me to start this journey and for helping me along the way (especially with all the legal requirements!).
